Reference Pro Invisible Loudspeaker for Narrow Installation Spaces
The cerasonar 12030 reference pro has been developed for demanding architectural audio projects where installation space is limited, but high acoustic performance remains essential. With its slim format, it is particularly well suited for narrow wall constructions, front-channel applications and situations where a wider loudspeaker simply cannot be integrated.
As part of the reference pro series, the 12030 reference pro offers increased headroom, higher output capability and a more controlled performance curve compared with standard invisible loudspeaker solutions. This makes it an excellent choice for premium residential projects, media rooms and living-style home cinema systems where clarity, dynamics and invisible integration are equally important.
Its narrow design makes the 12030 reference pro especially valuable as an invisible centre loudspeaker, for installations beside or below displays, or for architectural situations with restricted mounting width. It is also well suited for wood veneer and bespoke panel installations using rear-side pocket milling, where precise integration and additional performance reserves are required.
Due to its slim format, a dedicated subwoofer should always be considered part of the system design. For balanced full-range performance, the cerasonar 4080 sub is the recommended system extension. For larger rooms, higher output requirements or cinema-oriented applications, the cerasonar 6280 sub provides the ideal low-frequency foundation.
For optimum performance, cerasonar recommends pairing the 12030 reference pro with the cs-500dsp4 or cs-2000dsp4 DSP amplifier together with the dedicated factory DSP preset. Developed as a complete system, the loudspeaker, installation frame, DSP amplifier and preset are engineered to work hand in hand, optimising tonal balance, dynamic behaviour and reliable loudspeaker protection.
The 12030 reference pro can also be operated with conventional AV receivers or streaming amplifiers. In these applications, the cerasonar protection unit pro 50/100 W must be used to ensure safe operation and long-term loudspeaker reliability. As the protection unit incorporates a fixed high-pass filter, the use of a dedicated subwoofer is strongly recommended to achieve balanced full-range sound reproduction.
Alternatively, third-party DSP amplifiers such as LEA Professional or Powersoft may be used, provided the appropriate cerasonar factory DSP preset is available for the selected amplifier platform.
