High-Fidelity Invisible Loudspeaker – 50 W / 4 Ohm
The cerasonar 4062 reference marks the transition from everyday architectural audio to genuine high-fidelity invisible sound. Developed for premium residential and architectural projects, it delivers a level of clarity, musicality and bass extension that goes far beyond conventional background audio applications.
Compared with the fit series, the 4062 reference offers greater dynamic headroom, improved low-frequency performance and a more effortless presentation. When combined with the dedicated installation frame (backbox) and the factory DSP preset, it performs much more like a compact full-range loudspeaker than a traditional invisible speaker.
The 4062 reference is particularly well suited for living rooms, dining areas, kitchens, home offices, premium multi-room systems and smaller to medium-sized listening spaces where refined music reproduction is desired without visible loudspeakers.
For projects requiring greater scale, deeper bass and higher overall system performance, the cerasonar 4080 sub is the recommended system extension. Together, both products create a remarkably balanced full-range invisible audio solution with increased dynamics, greater low-frequency authority and a more immersive listening experience while preserving a completely invisible installation.
For optimum performance, cerasonar recommends pairing the 4062 reference with the cs-150smart2 streaming DSP amplifier or the cs-500dsp4 DSP amplifier. Using the dedicated factory DSP preset optimises tonal balance, improves low-frequency performance and provides reliable loudspeaker protection.
Alternatively, compatible LEA or Powersoft DSP amplifiers may also be used, provided the appropriate cerasonar DSP preset is loaded and configured correctly.
When operating without a DSP preset, the cerasonar Protection Unit Pro 50/100 W must be used to ensure safe operation and long-term loudspeaker reliability. In this configuration, the use of a dedicated subwoofer is recommended, as the protection unit applies a fixed high-pass filter that reduces low-frequency output.
This configuration also enables the 4062 reference to be integrated with conventional AV receivers and other amplifier systems that do not support cerasonar DSP presets. When combined with a dedicated subwoofer, it provides an excellent solution for home cinema and high-performance residential audio systems while maintaining reliable loudspeaker protection.
