Outdoor Architectural Subwoofer – 12"

The cerasonar concrete sub has been developed to deliver powerful, controlled low-frequency reproduction for premium outdoor audio systems. Crafted from genuine fibre-reinforced, polymer-modified concrete, it combines exceptional acoustic performance with outstanding durability, making it ideally suited for demanding residential, hospitality and landscape installations.

Designed as the perfect complement to the cerasonar concrete mini v2 and cerasonar concrete one, the concrete sub extends the low-frequency response while maintaining a harmonious architectural appearance. The enclosure is internally reinforced with moisture-resistant Tricoya® panels and assembled using stainless steel hardware, ensuring long-term reliability even under demanding outdoor conditions. An integrated Speakon® connector allows the connection cable to be disconnected quickly and safely for seasonal removal or maintenance.

Two performance versions are available to suit different project requirements. The Standard Performance model features a custom-developed 12-inch Kevlar sandwich driver with dual voice coils, delivering 250 W RMS of clean, controlled and dynamic bass reproduction for premium residential outdoor systems. For larger installations and the highest acoustic demands, the Reference Performance model incorporates a heavy-duty 12-inch aluminium-cone driver capable of handling up to 700 W RMS, providing exceptional output capability, effortless dynamics and remarkably deep bass extension.

For the best possible listening experience, cerasonar recommends pairing the concrete sub with the cs-500dsp4 or cs-2000dsp4 DSP amplifier together with the dedicated factory DSP preset. Developed specifically for the concrete series, the factory DSP preset optimises low-frequency performance, ensures seamless integration with the connected loudspeakers and provides reliable loudspeaker protection.

Alternatively, compatible third-party DSP amplifiers, including LEA Professional and Powersoft, may be used with the appropriate cerasonar factory DSP preset.

Developed as part of the complete cerasonar concrete series, the concrete sub, outdoor loudspeakers and DSP amplifier have been engineered to work hand in hand, creating a powerful and perfectly integrated outdoor audio system with uncompromising sound quality and timeless architectural aesthetics.

The cerasonar concrete products are available in grey (standard), anthracite and white. The top surface is available smooth (standard) or rough. Colour deviations are part of the vivid appearance of the concrete.

Excellent durability and dimensional stability

The additional reinforcement in combination with the powerful bass drivers produce an extremely dry bass. For extreme durability for outside conditions, we chose high-performance, waterproof medite tricoya extreme MDF panels, manufactured from sustainable FSC® forestry for the cabinet.

What to do when winter comes?
