The cerasonar drywall ceiling anti-vibration kit has been developed for suspended plasterboard ceilings where structure-borne sound and mechanical vibrations should be reduced.
Used in combination with the cerasonar drywall ceiling kit, four pre-assembled vibration damper sets mechanically decouple the cerasonar installation frame (backbox) from the supporting ceiling structure. This helps minimise unwanted vibration transmission and rattling while maintaining a secure and accurately aligned installation.
The kit is particularly recommended for lightweight ceiling constructions, home cinema systems and installations with powerful invisible subwoofers, where effective mechanical isolation contributes to controlled acoustic performance and reduced transmission into the building structure.
The pre-assembled dampers are compatible with the factory-prepared fixing points of the cerasonar installation frame (backbox), supporting a reliable and repeatable installation process.
Important installation note: The cerasonar drywall ceiling kit is required. The anti-vibration kit is suitable for ceiling installation only. The required M8 threaded rods and suitable ceiling anchors are not included and must be selected according to the supporting construction and expected load.
