The cerasonar drywall ceiling kit has been developed for the fast, precise and flush installation of the cerasonar installation frame in plasterboard ceilings. It ensures accurate alignment with the finished ceiling surface while providing a stable and reliable mounting solution for new construction and renovation projects.

The kit simplifies installation by allowing the installation frame to be securely fixed before plastering, helping to achieve consistent installation quality and reducing installation time on site. It also serves as the foundation for the optional cerasonar drywall ceiling anti-vibration kit, enabling mechanically decoupled installations where reduced structure-borne sound transmission is required.

Installation battens with integrated drive-in nuts and fixing screws
Factory pre-drilled compatibility with the cerasonar installation frame
Manufactured from durable 21 mm waterproof plywood screen-print board
Designed for flush alignment with the finished plasterboard ceiling

Make a cut-out in the plasterboard, +3 mm for easier handling (e.g. 4062 reference (pro) it is 403 mm x 623 mm)
Mount the two long wooden slats (M6 Torx screws)
Feed the speaker cable into the backbox
Guide the installation frame (backbox) at an angle into the ceiling or wall

Mount two additional wooden slats (M6 Torx screws)

Align the backbox in the centre of the plasterboard cut-out and then secure with sufficient screws
(picture 7, 8)
Now mount the speaker

ATTENTION: The stability of the ceiling and the plasterboard must be checked and, if necessary, reinforcing batten(s) must be screwed to the substructure and the frame (screw must not penetrate more than 14 mm into the wood) or, alternatively, the additional cerasonar drywall ceiling anti-vibration kit can be used.
