The cerasonar 6280 reference pro represents the pinnacle of the cerasonar invisible loudspeaker portfolio. Developed without compromise, it has been engineered for projects where architectural freedom must be combined with true reference-grade music reproduction and uncompromising home cinema performance.
With its exceptionally large radiating surface, advanced transducer technology and substantial dynamic reserves, the 6280 reference pro delivers remarkable transparency, effortless dynamics and outstanding spatial precision. Even at elevated listening levels, music and cinematic content remain controlled, natural and free from audible compression, creating an immersive listening experience that rivals many conventional high-end loudspeaker systems while remaining completely invisible behind the finished surface.
The 6280 reference pro is ideally suited for luxury residences, open-plan living environments, dedicated listening rooms, premium home cinemas and demanding commercial installations where maximum performance and invisible integration are equally important.
Although the 6280 reference pro already provides impressive low-frequency capability on its own, its full performance potential is realised when combined with the cerasonar 6280 sub. Together, both products create a true full-range invisible reference system with exceptional bass authority, effortless dynamics and outstanding musical realism. By reproducing the lowest frequencies with a dedicated subwoofer, the 6280 reference pro can focus entirely on midrange clarity, spatial precision and high-frequency refinement, resulting in an exceptionally open, balanced and natural soundstage.
For optimum performance, cerasonar recommends pairing the 6280 reference pro with the cs-2000dsp4 DSP amplifier together with the dedicated installation frame and factory DSP preset. Developed as a complete system, the loudspeaker, installation frame, DSP amplifier and factory DSP preset have been engineered to work hand in hand, optimising tonal balance, extending low-frequency performance and providing reliable loudspeaker protection without additional configuration.
Alternatively, professional DSP amplifiers such as LEA Professional or Powersoft may be used, provided the appropriate cerasonar factory DSP preset is available for the selected amplifier platform.
The Reference Pro series has been engineered as a complete DSP-based audio system. For this reason, operation with conventional AV receivers or streaming amplifiers in combination with a protection unit is not recommended, as this significantly limits the loudspeaker's acoustic performance and dynamic capabilities. Only in combination with a dedicated DSP amplifier and the corresponding factory DSP preset can the full potential of the 6280 reference pro be realised.
