🪵 WHERE CRAFTSMANSHIP AND SOUND BECOME ONE
INVISIBLE AUDIO INTEGRATION FOR WOOD, VENEER AND BESPOKE INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE

For decades, designers, architects, and craftsmen have faced a familiar challenge: integrating high-quality audio into premium wood interiors without compromising the visual integrity of the finished surface.

Visible loudspeakers, grilles, and technical components often interrupt carefully crafted materials, drawing attention away from the architecture and craftsmanship itself.

Cerasonar eliminates this compromise by transforming walls, panels, and veneered surfaces into fully integrated sound sources - allowing music and design to coexist without visual distraction.

ELEGANT SOUND WITHOUT COMPROMISE

KEY BENEFITS

  • Completely invisible integration behind wood, veneer, and architectural surfaces
  • Preserves the purity and visual integrity of interior design concepts
  • Creates a seamless connection between architecture and audio

ELEGANT SOUND WITHOUT COMPROMISE
A NATURAL EXTENSION OF THE ARCHITECTURE

Whether integrated into wall panelling, custom cabinetry, decorative timber elements, kitchen fronts, yacht interiors, or fully bespoke architectural concepts, cerasonar adapts seamlessly to the vision of the project. It is designed for spaces where every detail matters - where surfaces are not just functional, but carefully composed elements of a larger design language.

In modern kitchens, the system can disappear behind elegant cabinet fronts, allowing sound to fill the space without interrupting the clean geometry of the design. In yacht interiors, where space is limited and every surface must serve both a functional and aesthetic purpose, it becomes an invisible companion that enhances life on board without ever revealing itself. In wall panelling and bespoke joinery, it integrates so naturally that the architecture remains uninterrupted, as if sound were part of the material itself.

The system does not compete with the interior - it dissolves into it. Light, texture, and proportion remain untouched, while the atmosphere of the space subtly deepens through sound that feels present, yet unseen.

The result is a refined balance of aesthetics, comfort, and acoustic presence. Spaces feel calmer, more immersive, more complete. Materials retain their purity, while the environment gains an almost intangible layer of emotion.

It is an experience where architecture remains the focus, craftsmanship is respected in every detail, and music seems to exist effortlessly within the room - without origin, without source, and without visual interruption.

DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR WOOD & VENEER APPLICATIONS
ENGINEERED MOUNTING FOR CONSISTENT PERFORMANCE

Unlike conventional drywall installations, wood and veneer integrations require a dedicated loudspeaker preparation to ensure reliable bonding and long-term stability within the finished surface.

For these applications, cerasonar loudspeakers are supplied without the standard primer coating and are instead prepared specifically for installation into wooden and veneered panel constructions.

A high-performance mounting interface is created using the cerasonar pocket mount double-sided tape, providing a secure and uniform connection between the loudspeaker and the panel structure.

To ensure additional mechanical security, every installation should also incorporate the cerasonar panel pocket mount kit, which provides supplementary retention and long-term installation stability within demanding architectural environments.

Together, these components establish a dedicated mounting concept specifically developed for premium wood, veneer, and joinery applications.

FLEXIBLE INTEGRATION OPTIONS FOR ARCHITECTURAL PROJECTS
RECOMMENDED SYSTEM CONFIGURATIONS

Depending on room size, listening requirements, and performance objectives, wood and veneer installations can be realised using different cerasonar system architectures.

For compact and medium-sized environments, the cerasonar 4062 reference pro provides outstanding performance while maintaining maximum installation flexibility.

For larger spaces and higher output requirements, the cerasonar 6280 reference pro delivers increased dynamic capability, extended headroom, and reference-level reproduction for demanding music and media applications.

Both loudspeaker platforms can be combined with the cerasonar architect sub to extend low-frequency performance while preserving the seamless design aesthetic of the installation.

Amplification and DSP processing are provided by either the cs-500dsp4 or the cs-2000dsp4, allowing the system to be tailored from discreet architectural audio solutions to high-performance entertainment environments.

Installation Solutions
REDUCE THE SPREAD OF UNWANTED NOISE BETWEEN ROOMS

For wood and veneer applications, cerasonar offers the installation frame (backbox) designed for integration within wooden panel constructions.

By providing a defined rear volume, the installation frame (backbox) ensures controlled acoustic conditions behind the loudspeaker while contributing to a more stable and predictable sound behaviour within the installation environment.

At the same time, it allows the rear side of the system to remain completely free of visible technical components, supporting a clean and fully concealed installation within architectural wood surfaces.

This approach simplifies planning in joinery and veneer projects and ensures consistent integration quality across different interior designs.

FOR ENHANCED LOW-FRQUENCY PERFORMANCE
OPTIONAL SUBWOOFER

In wood and veneer interior environments, extended low-frequency performance is achieved exclusively through the cerasonar architect sub, designed specifically for installations where acoustic impact and architectural integration must be perfectly balanced.

The architect sub provides controlled, high-performance bass reproduction while maintaining a fully concealed installation approach. Its design allows it to integrate seamlessly into architectural constructions without compromising the visual purity of wood, veneer, or bespoke interior surfaces.

Equipped with integrated vibration control elements, the system minimises the transmission of mechanical energy into surrounding structures, ensuring that low-frequency output remains precise, contained, and free from unwanted resonance effects - even in sensitive interior constructions.

A discreet outlet design connected via a flexible duct system allows for installation flexibility while preserving clean architectural lines and consistent design language across the space.

Fully integrated into the cerasonar DSP platform, the architect sub operates in perfect alignment with system-matched presets, ensuring consistent tuning, predictable performance, and seamless sonic integration across all installation zones.

It is used selectively wherever extended low-frequency reproduction is required, complementing the main system while maintaining the discreet and design-focused character of wood and veneer interiors.

Recommended Amplification for multiroom audio
RACKMOUNT 4CH DSP POWER AMPLIFIER

The cs-500dsp4 and cs-2000dsp4 form the dedicated amplification and DSP control backbone for cerasonar wood and veneer audio installations, providing the required power, system control, and signal processing for high-quality stereo and multiroom applications.

Both amplifier platforms are designed to deliver precisely matched performance for architectural loudspeaker systems, ensuring stable dynamics, high headroom, and consistent sonic behaviour across all listening zones.

The cs-500dsp4 offers four channels of 500 W high-efficiency Class D amplification, making it ideally suited for compact to medium-sized stereo or distributed audio systems. Its integrated Dynamic Bass Boost function enhances low-frequency perception of the cerasonar 6280 reference pro at lower listening levels, ensuring a full and engaging sound experience even in installations without dedicated subwoofer support.

For larger or more demanding multiroom environments, the cs-2000dsp4 provides extended power capacity with four channels of higher-output DSP-controlled amplification, enabling greater system scalability and additional headroom for complex architectural audio layouts.

A core requirement of the cerasonar system philosophy is the use of DSP-controlled amplification. All loudspeakers are operated exclusively with factory-developed DSP presets that define frequency response, phase behaviour, and system alignment. These presets are not optional corrections, but an integral part of the system design, ensuring consistent performance, tonal balance, and installation reliability across all projects.

Without DSP-matched amplification, the acoustic behaviour of the system cannot be guaranteed as intended. The combination of dedicated amplifiers and loudspeakers therefore forms a complete, engineered audio platform designed for predictable, high-quality results in architectural stereo and multiroom environments.
