Im Gegensatz zum 4080 ultimate arbeitet der 6280 Reference Pro ohne Tieftöner oder Frequenzweiche und bietet dadurch deutliche Vorteile. Durch den Einsatz einer Reihe von Exzitern und den Wegfall von Leistungsverlusten durch Widerstände oder Frequenzweichen erreicht er einen außergewöhnlich hohen maximalen Schalldruckpegel.

Als reiner Exciter-basierter Lautsprecher vermeidet er Phasenprobleme, die typischerweise an der Übergangsfrequenz zwischen einem Tieftöner und einem Exciter auftreten.

In Kombination mit einem großen Cerasonar-Subwoofer wie dem 6280 Sub oder 62200 Sub ist der 6280 Reference Pro ein idealer Satellitenlautsprecher für High-End-Heimkinoanlagen. For best performance, use the factory-designed cerasonar DSP presets together with the matching installation frame (backbox). The 6280 reference pro can be used with cs-150smart2 in compact full-range systems, while cs-500dsp4 and cs-2000dsp4 are recommended where higher output and greater headroom are required.

Hotel corridor audio

20 × 1520 fit – 100V, distributed across two bridged 100V amplifier outputs with 10 loudspeakers per output, all powered by one cs-500dsp4.
