The cerasonar cs-2000dsp4 is the most powerful DSP amplifier within the cerasonar portfolio, developed for projects where maximum flexibility, high output power and advanced system control are required. Designed as the central processing unit of the complete cerasonar system, it combines powerful amplification, comprehensive DSP functionality and seamless loudspeaker protection in a single platform.
Whether driving high-performance invisible loudspeakers, powerful subwoofers or large 70/100V installations, the cs-2000dsp4 provides the power reserves and processing capabilities required for demanding residential and commercial projects.
When used with the dedicated cerasonar factory DSP presets, the amplifier automatically optimises the connected loudspeakers for their intended installation. Frequency response, dynamic behaviour and loudspeaker protection have been carefully engineered to work hand in hand, eliminating the need for external protection units while extracting the maximum performance from every cerasonar system.
Beyond loudspeaker optimisation, the integrated DSP provides extensive system configuration options including parametric equalisers, crossover filters, delay, compressors and output routing. This allows precise adaptation to room acoustics and installation requirements while maintaining predictable system performance.
For commissioning and installation, the cs-2000dsp4 includes integrated sine wave, pink noise and white noise generators. These tools simplify loudspeaker testing before plastering, help identify unwanted resonances within the building structure and support phase alignment, delay adjustment and final system optimisation. In many situations, basic acoustic measurements can even be carried out using a modern smartphone before a calibrated measurement microphone is employed.
Each amplifier channel can be assigned its own factory DSP preset, allowing different cerasonar loudspeakers and subwoofers to be combined on a single amplifier without compromising system optimisation. To simplify installation even further, the cs-2000dsp4 can be supplied with all required factory presets already loaded. Simply specify the loudspeaker configuration when ordering, and the amplifier will be delivered pre-configured and clearly labelled, significantly reducing commissioning time on site.
Configuration is performed via USB or LAN, allowing one or multiple amplifiers to be managed simultaneously without additional drivers. The amplifier also supports Dante, GPIO, RS232 and RS485, making it equally suitable for standalone installations and complex integrated AV systems.
Delivering 4 × 500 W at 4 Ohms, 2 × 1000 W bridged, or 70/100V operation, the cs-2000dsp4 provides ample power for demanding loudspeaker systems, large distributed audio installations and high-performance invisible subwoofers.
