cerasonar cs-150smart2 – Plug-and-Play DSP Streaming Amplifier

The cerasonar cs-150smart2 combines high-quality music streaming, powerful DSP processing and dedicated loudspeaker optimisation in one exceptionally compact amplifier. Designed for residential stereo systems, premium multi-room installations and architectural audio applications, it offers the simplest way to experience the full performance of cerasonar loudspeakers.

Delivering 2 × 75 watts into 4 Ohms, the cs-150smart2 provides ample power for a wide range of invisible loudspeakers while maintaining outstanding sound quality and remarkably low distortion. Its integrated network streaming platform supports modern music services and local audio playback, eliminating the need for additional source devices in many installations.

Unlike conventional streaming amplifiers, the cs-150smart2 has been specifically developed as a plug-and-play DSP solution for cerasonar loudspeakers. Each cerasonar factory DSP preset has been individually engineered for its corresponding loudspeaker, optimising tonal balance, extending low-frequency performance where applicable, activating proprietary technologies such as Dynamic Bass Enhancement on supported models and providing reliable loudspeaker protection. As a result, no additional protection unit is required.

To simplify installation, the amplifier can be supplied with the appropriate cerasonar factory DSP preset already preloaded. During ordering, simply select the required loudspeaker from the available preset list. The amplifier is then delivered fully configured and labelled, allowing immediate installation without additional DSP programming or commissioning.

Once installed, everyday operation is conveniently carried out via the 4STREAM app or the supplied infrared remote control. In addition to music playback and source selection, users can adjust basic sound settings such as bass and treble, while all loudspeaker-specific DSP parameters remain securely stored within the factory preset, ensuring consistent system performance.

For applications requiring higher output power, dedicated subwoofer channels or more advanced DSP functionality, cerasonar recommends the cs-500dsp4 or cs-2000dsp4 DSP amplifiers.
