The 6280 reference pro is ideally suited for luxury residences, open-plan living environments, dedicated listening rooms, premium home cinemas and demanding commercial installations where maximum performance and invisible integration are equally important.
For applications demanding the highest level of low-frequency performance, the cerasonar 6280 sub is the recommended system extension. Together, both products create a true full-range invisible reference system with exceptional bass authority, effortless dynamics and outstanding musical realism. By reproducing the lowest frequencies with a dedicated subwoofer, the 6280 reference pro can concentrate entirely on midrange clarity, spatial precision and high-frequency refinement, resulting in an exceptionally open, balanced and natural soundstage.
For the most demanding high-end stereo systems and reference home cinema installations, the cerasonar 62200 sub represents the ultimate low-frequency solution. Equipped with four 12-inch long-throw drivers in a high-output bass reflex enclosure, it has been developed for projects where uncompromising bass performance, extreme dynamic capability and true reference-level reproduction are required while maintaining an almost completely invisible appearance.
For optimum performance, the cerasonar 6280 reference pro should be operated with a suitable cerasonar DSP amplifier, the dedicated cerasonar installation frame and the corresponding cerasonar factory DSP preset. Developed as a complete system, these components have been engineered to work hand in hand, optimising tonal balance, extending low-frequency performance and activating the proprietary Dynamic Bass Enhancement, delivering a fuller and more natural listening experience at low and medium listening levels while providing reliable loudspeaker protection without requiring an additional protection unit.
Depending on the project requirements, the loudspeaker can be combined with the cerasonar cs-500dsp4 DSP amplifier or the cerasonar cs-2000dsp4 DSP amplifier. While the cs-500dsp4 provides outstanding performance for high-end residential installations, the cs-2000dsp4 is the recommended choice for fully exploiting the performance potential of the 6280 reference pro, particularly in larger systems, reference home cinemas and installations incorporating one or more high-performance invisible subwoofers.
Alternatively, compatible third-party DSP amplifiers from LEA Professional and Powersoft may be used.
The 6280 reference pro has been developed as part of a complete DSP-based audio system. While operation with conventional amplifier platforms is technically possible, cerasonar strongly recommends using a dedicated DSP amplifier together with the appropriate cerasonar factory DSP preset to achieve the intended acoustic performance, dynamic capabilities and reliable loudspeaker protection.
