100V Line Transformer – Flexible Integration into Distributed Audio Systems

The cerasonar 100V line transformer enables compatible low-impedance cerasonar invisible loudspeakers to be integrated into distributed 100V audio systems.

This installation concept is particularly suitable for commercial, hospitality and multi-zone projects requiring long cable runs, multiple loudspeakers and flexible power distribution from a central amplifier.

The transformer converts the 100V amplifier output to the impedance required by the connected loudspeaker. Multiple power settings allow the loudspeaker level and amplifier load to be adapted to the requirements of the individual zone.

For optimum acoustic performance and reliable loudspeaker protection, cerasonar recommends operation with the cerasonar cs-500dsp4 in 100V mode and the dedicated factory DSP preset for the connected loudspeaker. A compatible universal 100V amplifier may also be used where the system load, frequency response and loudspeaker protection have been professionally verified.

100V Line Transformer – 20W

Recommended for:

• cerasonar 1520 fit

Technical configuration:

• Primary input: 100V

• Secondary output: 16 ohms, 8 ohms or 4 ohms

• Selectable power settings: 20W, 15W, 10W, 5W or 2.5W

For new distributed-audio projects based on the compact 1520 format, the cerasonar 1520 fit – 100V provides an alternative with a fully integrated 100V line transformer and does not require an external transformer.

100V Line Transformer – 50W

Recommended for:

• cerasonar 2525 fit

• cerasonar 4062 reference

• cerasonar 4062 architect

Technical configuration:

• Primary input: 100V

• Secondary output: 16 ohms, 8 ohms or 4 ohms

• Selectable power settings: 50W, 37.5W, 25W, 12.5W or 6.25W

The cerasonar 4062 architect must be operated with the cerasonar cs-500dsp4 and the dedicated factory DSP preset. A universal 100V amplifier without the corresponding cerasonar DSP preset must not be used for this model.

Important system note: Select the transformer version, secondary impedance and power setting according to the exact loudspeaker model and required output. The combined transformer load connected to an amplifier channel must remain within the amplifier’s rated 100V output, including sufficient system headroom. Installation and system configuration must be carried out by a qualified professional.
