Outdoor Architectural Subwoofer – 12"

The cerasonar concrete sub has been developed to deliver powerful, controlled low-frequency reproduction for premium outdoor audio systems. Crafted from genuine fibre-reinforced, polymer-modified concrete, it combines exceptional acoustic performance with outstanding durability, making it ideally suited for demanding residential, hospitality and landscape architecture projects.

Designed as the perfect low-frequency extension for the cerasonar concrete mini v2 and cerasonar concrete one, the concrete sub provides the foundation for true full-range outdoor audio while maintaining a harmonious architectural appearance. Its concrete enclosure blends naturally into modern gardens and outdoor living spaces, preserving the discreet design language of the entire cerasonar concrete series.

Internally, the enclosure is reinforced using moisture-resistant Tricoya® panels and assembled with stainless-steel hardware to ensure outstanding long-term durability under demanding outdoor conditions. An integrated Speakon® connector allows the loudspeaker cable to be disconnected quickly and safely, making seasonal removal or maintenance particularly straightforward.

Two performance versions are available to suit different project requirements. The Standard Performance model features a custom-developed 12-inch Kevlar sandwich woofer with dual voice coils, delivering 250 W RMS of clean, controlled and dynamic bass reproduction for premium residential outdoor systems. For larger installations and the highest acoustic demands, the Reference Performance model incorporates a heavy-duty 12-inch aluminium-cone woofer capable of handling up to 700 W RMS, providing exceptional output capability, effortless dynamics and remarkably deep bass extension.

The cerasonar factory DSP preset is available for the cerasonar cs-500dsp4 DSP amplifier, the cerasonar cs-2000dsp4 DSP amplifier as well as compatible DSP amplifiers from LEA Professional and Powersoft, allowing seamless integration into a wide variety of residential, hospitality and commercial outdoor audio systems.

Developed as part of the complete cerasonar concrete series, the concrete sub, concrete mini v2, concrete one and the dedicated cerasonar factory DSP presets have been engineered to work together as one perfectly integrated outdoor audio system, delivering exceptional sound quality while preserving the timeless aesthetics of contemporary landscape architecture.

Its ground-reflection concept requires a hard surface such as concrete, natural stone or paving. Soft ground reduces the intended reflection.

CABLE & SERVICE

Use durable outdoor cable routes and avoid water traps. The concrete sub includes a Speakon connector for safe seasonal removal and service.

These distances are conservative starting points, not guaranteed coverage specifications. Final design depends on ambient noise, boundaries, listening level and local conditions.

LOW-FREQUENCY EXTENSION

ADD THE CONCRETE SUB WHEN THE PROJECT NEEDS MORE SCALE.

The concrete mini v2 already delivers remarkable bass for its compact size, but it is not designed for high maximum output. Where a project requires clearly more SPL, choose the concrete maxi first. The concrete sub then becomes the natural extension for maxi and concrete one when still greater depth, dynamics and physical bass are required.

CONCRETE MINI V2

The compact choice for terraces, hotels and restaurants where excellent bass for the size and moderate listening levels are more important than maximum SPL. It is generally planned as a complete system without a subwoofer.

MAXI + CONCRETE SUB

The preferred premium combination for luxury gardens: the maxi provides the required SPL and headroom, while the concrete sub adds deeper, more physical low frequencies.

CONCRETE ONE + CONCRETE SUB

The largest full-range presentation within the series, expanded by dedicated low-frequency authority for demanding gardens and hospitality projects.
