4-Channel DSP Amplifier – Engineered for the Complete cerasonar System

The cerasonar cs-500dsp4 has been developed specifically for the cerasonar loudspeaker portfolio, combining DSP processing, power amplification and loudspeaker protection within a single compact platform. As the recommended amplifier for the majority of cerasonar installations, it forms the heart of complete invisible audio systems for residential, hospitality and commercial applications.

Using the dedicated cerasonar factory DSP presets, each loudspeaker is automatically optimised for its intended application. The presets refine tonal balance, compensate for the acoustic characteristics of invisible loudspeakers and activate the proprietary Dynamic Bass Enhancement, which intelligently increases low-frequency output at low and medium listening levels while maintaining reliable loudspeaker protection. When operated with the appropriate factory preset, no additional cerasonar Protection Unit is required.

Each amplifier channel can be assigned its own factory DSP preset, allowing different cerasonar loudspeakers and subwoofers to be combined on a single amplifier without compromising system optimisation. To simplify installation even further, the cs-500dsp4 can be supplied with all required factory presets already loaded. Simply specify the loudspeaker configuration when ordering, and the amplifier will be delivered pre-configured and clearly labelled, significantly reducing commissioning time on site.

The integrated DSP provides comprehensive system configuration including parametric equalisers, crossover filters, delay adjustment and polarity control. This allows loudspeakers and subwoofers to be perfectly aligned while providing the flexibility required for stereo systems, multi-room installations and distributed 70/100V audio systems.

Delivering 4 × 125 W into 4 or 8 Ohms, with bridge operation supporting 250 W, as well as 70/100V operation, the cs-500dsp4 offers exceptional flexibility for both low-impedance and distributed audio applications. The integrated audio pass-through function allows multiple amplifiers to be connected in a simple daisy-chain configuration, making it particularly suitable for larger multi-room installations.

Configuration is performed conveniently through the integrated web interface, allowing the amplifier to be accessed via any modern web browser without additional software or drivers. For system integration, the amplifier provides an open API, enabling seamless communication with third-party control systems and building automation platforms.
